NSIC and Zoram Infrastructure & Industrial Development Corp. Ltd. (ZIDCO), a Govt. of Mizoram undertaking, have signed an MoU to support enterprise creation initiative at Mizoram. An Enterprise Creation Lab is proposed to be developed on a piece of land provided by the Govt. of Mizoram, that shall serve as a hub for entrepreneurship, innovation, training, and skill development, catering to youth across Mizoram and the North East. Under the MoU, NSIC will act as the knowledge partner and share its expertise in selection & procurement of machinery and development of training programs & modules, while ZIDCO will handle construction and run training programs in emerging service-oriented sectors, such as digital marketing, design, languages, event and hospitality management etc. The MoU was signed by Shri Kartikeya Sinha, Dir.(P&M), NSIC, and Shri L.P.
