SPECIAL VENDOR DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME & E-TENDERING FOR SC/STs HELD ON 27th JUNE AT PEENYA, BANGALORE

Branch Office, Peenya, Bangalore organized an exclusive Special Vendor Development Programme and E-tendering for SC/ST MSMEs on 27th June 2017 at Peenya, Bangalore. Shri.P.Ravi Kumar, Chief General Manager, South-I inaugurated the event addressing the MSMEs and welcoming the officials from M/s.Bharat Electronics Limited(BEL). Meeting was organized to encourage and help the units to register with the Government Departments for their supplies to them. Branch has invited Shri.Parthiban, Manager & Shri.Madhu Babu, Manager officials from M/s.Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), Bangalore to explain the procedure for getting the units enrolled with them as Vendors. The officials of BEL have made the PowerPoint presentation explaining the MSMEs as to how they can register with BEL as Vendors. Later, NSIC Officials have also made a PowerPoint presentation explaining the units as to how they can take-up the participation in e-tendering. The meeting was concluded mentioning that if units have any problem in online registration or in e-tendering they can approach NSIC office for their further help.

B.O, Peenya, Bangalore organises finance facilities for MSMEs in association with Yes Bank

B.O, Peenya, Bangalore has been time and again interacting with MSMEs to understand and meet their needs. Recently, branch was approached by the members of Corrugated Manufacturers Cluster for their financial and marketing support. Matter was discussed with the members, taken their financial need and arranged the meeting with YES Bank who have readily agreed to help the Cluster needs. Shri.Vaibha Sharma, Sr.Vice President of YES Bank of Karnataka Circle along with his team have attended the meeting and addressed the 40 cluster members and informed that they are ready to take-up their financial needs and also agreed to extend the Bank Guarantee to each and every unit for their Raw Material Purchase exclusively through NSIC. They have listed the documents to be furnished and informed to submit the same to our Office for our onward forwarding the same to YES Bank. If all the documents are ready, they have expressed their willingness to fix a date wherein the spot sanctions can also be initiated. As the said platform was idle even to discuss the addition of new material, we have taken-up their raw material requirement and are in the process of discussing with bulk manufacturers who can offer the best price.

NSIC (Chennai) updates Chennai District Small Scale Industries Association about GST benefits

NSIC (Chennai) in association with Chennai District Small Scale Industries Association organized a program on 11th July 2017 to update the MSME units about the benefits of GST. A Chartered Accountant Ms.Revathy Balaji was invited to explain the benefits of complying with the GST Registration. Shri T.V.Hariharan, President, CDISSIA, Mr. R. NSIC signs MoU with ACC Ltd

NSIC signed an MOU with ACC Limited on 17th July 2017, for supply of Cement to various MSMEs in the state of Andhra Pradesh & Telangana. Shri Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC interacts with Media persons

Shri Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC interacted with Media persons on 11.07.17 during their visit to NSIC Incubation Centre at New Delhi. Speaking on this occasion, about NSIC Initiatives in the area of technical support to MSMEs through `NSIC Technical Services Centres` (NTSCs) and a number of TICs & Livelihood Business Incubation Centre (LBIs )spread across the country, he stated that the range of technical services provided through these centers include skill development in Hi-Tech as well as conventional trades, material and product testing at our testing laboratories accredited by NABL / BIS, common facilities, energy audit, environment management etc.,NSIC is also providing services to MSME units by providing skilled & professional workforce by imparting training on demand driven, industry oriented courses fields like Mechanical Workshop, Information Technology, CAD/CAM & CNC, Multimedia & Animation, Electrical & Electronics, Entrepreneurship Development. The curriculum of each training programme is defined in such a way so as to give maximum practical exposure through practical training to the trainees. NSIC( Hyderabad ) updates COWE members on the benefits of GST

NSIC( Hyderabad )in association with the Confederation Of Women Entrepreneurs (COWE) organized a workshop on GST (Goods & Services Tax) in the premises of COWE on 06.07.2017. In the program Shri C.Venkata Swamy, Sr. Branch Manager apprised the participants about the scheme of NSIC & Shri Raghavendra (Chartered Accountant) made a presentation on GST. About 39 members attended the program from various industrial sectors. Smt. NSIC conducts Training Program on ISO 9001: 2015

NSIC is about to transit into ISO 9001:2015. In order to have a smooth transition and update our employees,a training program on ISO 9001: 2015 and standard enterprise and Risk management for it employees was conducted on 08th July 2017. CRPF and BSF place order on NSIC (Guwahati) Incubation Trainees

NSIC (Guwahati) has been conducting Skill Development training Programme on different Trades from last two years. They recently conducted training program on various Handicraft items such as Doormat, Carpet etc. making in Teliamura, (West Tripura District). Consecutively NSIC (Guwahati) organized Vendor development Program in Khumlwng, (Tripura) on 18.11. 2016 where CRPF and BSF were the main local buyers. Impressed by the high quality standards being maintained in the training being imparted On spot total 5 Units has got order from CRPF and BSF for volume of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousands only) for the financial year 2016-17and for the current financial year 2017-18, they have got order for 2, 00,000/- (Rupees Two Lakh only).The details of the units who received the order areas given below :- 1.
