Sh. Ajit Kumar Seth, former Cabinet Secretary, Govt. of India, visited the campus of NSIC Technical Services Centre, Okhla on 14.12.2023. He applauded the material testing and training departments and other facilities available at the NTSC (okhla). Shri Subodh Jaiswal, Centre Head ,NTSC (Okhla) apprised him of the valuable work that the centre is doing in building Entrepreneurship culture through its flagship Entrepreneurship Development Programme which encourages the youth to choose the option of self-employment through unique blend of theory and practical training on the live manufacturing projects. The dignitary interacted with the trainees and was impressed by the exceptional work being done in providing entrepreneurship and skill training to the youth, making them employable and giving them opportunities to start their own enterprises as well as successfully look for fruitful wage employment.
Shri Vipul Goel, CMD, NSIC chaired the 68th Annual General Meeting of NSIC held on 12th December, 2023 alongwith Shri Kartikeya Sinha, Director (Planing & Markting), Shri Gaurav Gulati, Director (Finance), Smt. Mercy Epao, Joint Secretary, SME, Shri. H.K. Vadhwa, Deputy Secretary, MoMSME, Smt. Neelam Sharma, Under Secretary, MoMSME, Dr. Ashok Ahirwar & Shri Kalandi Charan Samal Independent Directors on the Board, Smt. Nishtha Goyal, Company Secretary, NSIC wherein the annual accounts for FY 2022–23 were adopted.
Dr. Ashok Ahirwar, Independent Director on the Board, NSIC visited the NSIC (Guwahati) office on December 11, 2023. During his visit, he applauded the work accomplished by NSIC (Guwahati) as also interacted with trainees and industry associations from Assam and Nagaland to explore avenues for further development of MSMEs in the region. During his visit to Ahmedabad on 06 December 2023, Shri S. C. L. Das, Secretary (MSME) reviewed the performance of NSIC (Ahmedabad). Also present during the review were officials from other State Industry Departments, representatives of KVIC, Coir Board, EDI etc. Also seen in the picture are Shri P.K. Jha, Zonal Head (Centre), NSIC and Shri Vikas Mathur, Branch Head, NSIC (Ahmedabad).
During his visit to Odisha on 02nd December, 2023, Shri S. C. L. Das, Secretary, MoMSME reviewed the performance of NSIC (Bhubneshwar), wherein representatives from other industry departments like DIC (Odisha), CTTC (Bhubneshwar), MSME-DFO, KVIC, Coir Board were also present. On this occasion, Shri S. C. L. Das, Secretary (MSME) emphasized collaborative efforts with state government departments, a focus on marketing, and increased support for SC, ST, and Women MSEs. Dr. Anupam Gayen, SBM, NSIC was also present on the occasion.
Sh. Brajesh Kumar Singh, Chief Regional Manager, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (HPCL), Kolkata, led a delegation to visit NSIC (Guwahati) on 1st December, 2023, to explore collaborative businesses under Raw Material Distribution (RMD), such as Bitumin and Lubricants. During the meeting, HPCL showed keen interest to foster a strong partnership with NSIC for the mutual benefit of the MSMEs in the North-East region. Shri Vijay Prakash, Zonal Head, NSIC was also present on this occasion.
Sh. Kantharao Jinna, SBM, NSIC (Andheri), participated in the seminar on Innovative Financing Solutions for MSMEs organized by the IMC Chamber of Commerce & Industry on November 30, 2023, in Mumbai and highlighted the benefits of NSIC schemes. The program was attended by dignitaries such as Shri S. C. L. Das, Secretary, Ministry of MSME, Ms. Shruti Shinde, Chief Mgr, India Exim Bank, Sh. Gopinath, AGM, SIDBI and Sh. Gagandeep Singh (Sr. Mgr, NSE), who shared insights on advancing financing opportunities for MSMEs. Shri Manoj Kumar Singh, ZGM(West), NSIC was also present on the occasion.
