Shri Kalraj Mishra, Hon`ble Union Cabinet Minister, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises received a dividend cheque of Rs.17.02 crores for the year 2014-15 from Shri Ravindra Nath,CMD, NSIC in the presence of Dr. Anup K. Pujari, Secretary, Ministry of MSME and Shri S.N.Tripathi, Additional Secretary, MSME, Shri B.H. Anil Kumar, Joint Secretary, MSME and other officials of Ministry of MSME. Shri RavindraNath, CMD, NSIC informed that the Corporation has done an overall business of Rs. 20,004 crore in 2014-15 posting a 15% growth from its previous year. Shri Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC inaugurated the Hindi Diwas celebrations on 14.09.15 at Corporate office,New Delhi. Speaking on the occasion, he stated that Hindi should be used extensively for day to day official work and all NSIC employees should communicate in Hindi language with MSMEs, young people, entrepreneurs, etc. so that benefits of NSIC schemes could be disseminated across the Country. To encourage use of Hindi language various types of Quiz Contest, Debate, Essay Writing, etc. would be organised during the month for the NSIC Employees.
Shri Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC during his recent visit to NSIC (Indore) planted a sapling in office premises. Speaking on the Occasion, he stated that it has been shown that spending time amongst trees and green spaces increases our ability to work more effectively. By keeping our air and environment, cleaner, we are actually building a healthier environment for ourselves, our loved ones, the MSMEs and our future generations. All the Staff & Officers of MSME-DI (Indore) and NSIC (Indore) were present on this occasion.
During his recent visit to Tripura, Shri Ravindra Nath, CMD, met Shri Manik Sarkar, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tripura and explored opportunities for Setting up of NSIC Incubation Centre for Skill Development and Small Enterprise establishment at Agartala, Tripura. Shri Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC also interacted with the trainees in the trade electrician at Nalchar Block, Sepahajila District. During his recent visit to Indore, Shri Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC interacted with the members of M/s. Association of Industries of Madhya Pradesh and disseminated the benefits of NSIC schemes and the various new initiatives of NSIC for the growth of MSME sector.
