Hon'ble Shri Narayan Tatu Rane, Cabinet Minister of MSME and Hon'ble Shri Bhanu Pratab Singh Verma, Minister of State, MSME inaugurates SAMBHAV
Shri Narayan Tatu Rane, Cabinet Minister of MSME and Shri Bhanu Pratab Singh Verma, Minister of State, MSME inaugurated SAMBHAV (The National Level Awareness Programe) on 27th October, 2021 at NSIC Exhibition Complex, New Delhi in the presence of Shri B. B Swain, Secretary, MSME, Smt Mercy Epao (JS-SME), Smt. Alka Arora Nangia, CMD, NSIC, Shri P. Udayakumar, Director (P&M), NSIC &  Shri Gaurang Dixit, Director (Finance), NSIC. The aim of this initiative to promote entrepreneurship amongst youth and spread awareness on various schemes and its initiatives. The month long e-NLAP programme organized by Ministry of MSME will be conducted in more than 1300 colleges across the country reaching to more than 1,50,000 participants directly.

NSIC OBSERVES VIGILANCE AWARENESS WEEK
Shri P.Udayakumar, Director(P&M) and Shri Gaurang Dixit, Director (Finance)  administered the Integrity Pledge for Organisations and Citizens  on the occasion of Vigilance Awareness week.  Also present on this occasion was Shri A.K.Mishra,  CVO, NSIC along with NSIC employees. This awareness week campaign affirms our commitment to promotion of integrity and probity in public life through citizen participation. All employees have been advised to strictly adhere to extant Covid-19 prevention guidelines and focus on internal (housekeeping) activities which are to be taken up in campaign mode as part of the Vigilance Awareness Week this year. NSIC observes the Vigilance Awareness Week from 26th October to 01 November, 2021.

Contribution Agreement of SRI Fund, a Category II Alternative Investment Fund, signed between Ministry of MSME, NSIC, NVFCL and SBICap Venture Ltd.
Under the benevolent guidance of Shri Narayan Rane, Honble Minister of MSME, Shri Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma, Honble MOS (MSME) and in the gracious presence of Shri B.B.Swain, Secretary, MSME and Ms.Alka Arora, CMD NSIC and Chairperson NVCFL, the Contribution Agreement of Self Reliant India (SRI) Fund, a Category II Alternative Investment Fund for providing growth capital to MSMEs was signed on 12th Oct 2021 between Ministry of MSME, Government of India, the Anchor Investor, Sponsor The National Small Industries Corporation Ltd.,  NSIC Venture Capital Fund Ltd., the AIF Company and SBICap Ventures Limited, the Investment Manager. Dr. Ishita  G. Ganguly, ADC signed on behalf of the Ministry, Shri P. Udayakumar, Director (P&M) signed on behalf of NSIC, Shri Gaurang Dixit, Director and CEO, on behalf of NVFCL and Shri K. Suresh, MD & CEO on behalf of SBICap Venture Ltd.

NSIC RENEWS MOU WITH ICICI BANK FOR FINANCING CREDIT TO MSME UNDER ITS BANK CREDIT FACILITATION SCHEME
NSIC renews MOU with ICICI Bank on 13.10.2021 to strengthen its endeavour for serving to the financial needs of the MSME Sector. The MoU has been signed by Sh. Sh. P Ravi Kumar,Chief General Manager (BD), NSIC and Sh. Sandeep Garg, AGM, ICICI Bank. Also present on the occasion was Ms. Himani Shali, Chief Manager (Bank Tie Up), NSIC, Sh. Viswash Srivastava and Sh. Rahul Jindal (Chief Managers), ICICI bank.

Uganda Private Sector Delegation visits NSIC
A Sixteen Member delegation led by Hon. Kyatuheire Jacuelne (Member of Parliament), Uganda visited NSIC’s Rapid Incubation Centre and Advanced Training Centre at NSIC’s Technical Service Center, Okhla to know about the activities of NSIC for the development of MSMEs in the country. The delegation observed that NSIC’s model of Incubation Centre for employment generation is very useful in context of Uganda’s business environment and showed keen interest to cooperate with NSIC in setting up such Centre in Uganda. The delegation was briefed by Shri Sunil Tyagi, GM(SG)(IC), NSIC and other officials about the various initiatives taken by NSIC within India and abroad. Shri O.P. Singh, GM(Head NTSC), Sh. Anupam Tiwari, Manager (IC) and Shri. Shashank Shekhar, Asst. Manager (IC) were also present on this occasion.

A Ministry of MSME delegation led by Shri Bhaskar Kalra, Under Secretary visited NSIC on 06th Oct 2021. During their visit, they also visited the NSIC - Livelihood Business Incubation Center and Advance Training Centre at NTSC (Okhla) and appreciated the efforts of NSIC in job creation through skilling & entrepreneurship training and the various schemes being offered for the growth of MSME sector in the country. The Delegation was briefed about the various NSIC initiatives by Shri Rajesh Kumar, General Manager (Technology) and Shri O.P. Singh, Centre Head, NTSC (Okhla).

NSIC-ACKZONOBEL Centre of Skill Development inaugurated at NSTC Okhla
NSIC-Ackzonobel Centre of Skill Development was inaugurated at NSTC Okhla on 14.09.2021 by Sh P.Udayakumar, Director (P&M),NSIC  and His Excellency Mr. Marten van den Berg, Ambassador of Netherlands to India and in the presence of Mr. Rajiv Rajagopalan MD-Ackzonobel (India), Mr O.P.Singh (General Manager -NTSC Okhla), Mr Parthasarthi -GM(Skillsonics).The new training Programs launched are Assistant Decorator and Wall Painting for period of three months on full time basis  in two batches of 20 trainees each subsequently  the batch will be scaled up to 80 candidates. The training is aimed at skilling the youth from weaker sections and backward areas to make them productive as per the industry requirement and open up various opportunities in self-employment as well. Employment opportunities would also be provided by M/s. Ackzonobel to the deserving candidates culminating in full-time employment.
