Shri P. Udayakumar, Director (P&M), NSIC delivered a keynote address at the Webinar organised by SRM University on 15th September, 2020 titled "Entrepreneurship and Social Enterprises: Start-Up Canvas". Delivering his address he stated that NSIC facilitates MSMEs through integrated support services under Marketing, Technology & Finance. He encouraged the youth to come forward to avail the benefits of NSIC schemes to set-up their own enterprises.
In the presence of Shri P. Udayakumar, Director (Planning & Marketing) NSIC, an MoU was signed on 21.09.20 between Shri Paramjeet Singh, General Manager- SG (BD), NSIC and Shri Sunil Kumar Murathia, Regional Manager – Mktg. , Salem Steel Plant - Steel Authority Of India Limited (SSP-SAIL) for supply of “ All Stainless Steel from Salem Steel Plant” Raw material to MSMEs through NSIC on PAN India basis. Shri Vikas Sharma, Manager BD, NSIC was also present during the signing of MoU.

Shri Vijayendra (IAS), CMD, NSIC exchanging the copies of MoU signed with Shri D.R. Sarin, CMD, ALIMCO .The MoU was signed by Shri P. Udayakumar, Director (P&M), NSIC in the presence of Shri Gaurang Dixit, Director (Fin), NSIC. The MoU envisages to work together through the network of NSIC and its various schemes for identification of MSMEs to encourage them for sourcing substitute / replacement to imports through indigenous products to strengthen domestic supply base for critical components used in manufacturing of assistive devices by ALIMCO. In addition, ALIMCO will explore possibilities to utilize NSIC’s common facility services and material testing facilities available at NSIC Technical Services Centre spread across the country. Shri Navin Chopra, CGM (SG), Tech. and Shri Rajesh Kumar, DGM (Tech), NSIC were also present on the occasion.
Shri Vijayendra, (IAS) ,CMD,NSIC unfurled the National Flag on India’s 74th Independence Day .Shri P.Udayakumar, Director (P&M), NSIC along with Senior officials attended the flag hoisting ceremony at the Corporate Office, New Delhi .The program was organised keeping in view the necessary guidelines issued by MHA for safety on Covid 19 epidemic. Shri Vijayendra, (IAS) ,CMD,NSIC in his thoughtful speech on the occasion paid tribute and remembered all the freedom fighters as also the frontline warriors who relentlessly worked during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Further, to give more impetus to MSMEs growth, he added that NSIC will shortly form a SPV which will anchor Fund of Funds for MSMEs with a corpus “ Mother Fund “ of Rs.10000 crores to provide equity funding through Daughter funds (around Rs.40000 crores) to MSMEs having growth potential .

Gurvinder Kaur, Development Officer, NSIC awarded with the Certificate of Appreciation from Yoga Certificate Board, Ministry of Ayush, GoI for online participation on the occasion of 6th International Day of Yoga (21 June 2020 ) with the theme “ Yoga with Family” and performing yoga as per the common yoga protocol.
Shri P. Udayakumar, Director (P&M), NSIC delivered a keynote address at the Webinar organised by ASSOCHAM on 28th July 2020 titled "Aatma Nirbhar Bharat Package for MSMEs". Delivering his address he stated that the recent growth package announced by the Government has made the MSME sector more competitive and laid down the road map for boosting setting up of manufacturing base in India. He urged the MSMEs to come forward and avail the benefits of NSIC schemes. The session was very interactive and officers from SIDBI , UNIDO, CODSSIA participated.
NSIC has recently launched MSME Aggregation Services for facilitating MSMEs in ICT enabled Digital Services. In this connection, NSIC signed MOU with M/s Adaequare Info Private Limited (AIPL) on 30/06/2020 to facilitate MSMEs in terms of ICT adoption at affordable prices. Speaking on the Occasion, Shri P. Udayakumar, Director (P&M),NSIC stated that NSIC is on boarding service providers in all sectors to enable MSMEs achieve higher business efficiencies and continual performance. The complete on boarding process is available on the website www.nsic.co.in and all MSME stakeholders must come forward and join hands with NSIC for their growth The MOU was signed by Sh. Vidya Sagar Singh, General Manager (DFS)and Shri Pavan Peechara, Group CEO, AIPL .

On this occasion Shri M.
