Shri B.H Anil Kumar, IAS, Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) was handed over the Masks and Sanitizers for distribution by NSIC to join the fight against COVID-19. This NSIC initiative under CSR was taken by Shri P. Ravi Kumar, CGM, South-I, NSIC (Bangalore).
NSIC continuing its fight against COVID 19 handed over the Face Masks, Sanitizers, Hand Gloves etc. for distribution to the District Magistrate Office (Balasore) (Odisha). This NSIC initiative under CSR was taken by Zonal Office (East).
Dr. T. Arun, I.A.S, District Collector (Puducherry) was handed over the Masks and Sanitizers for distribution by NSIC to join the fight against COVID-19. This NSIC initiative under CSR was taken by Shri V. Satya Prasad, DM(F&A), NSIC (Puducherry) and Shri A. Vikraman, DO ,NSIC (Puducherry).
Thiru. K. Rajamani I.A.S. District Collector, Coimbatore was handed over the Masks and Sanitizers for distribution by NSIC to join the fight against COVID 19. This NSIC initiative under CSR was taken by Shri G. Kannan, Senior Branch Manager, Branch Office, Coimbatore.
NTSC Okhla has distributed Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) kits (Mask, Sanitizers & Gloves) to construction workers, rikshaw pullers, shelter homes and needy people of nearby areas of Ghazipur to break the chain of COVID-19 Infection. This NSIC initiative under CSR was taken by Shri O P Singh, Centre Head, NTSC (Okhla) in association with Delhi Police- Ghazipur Police Station, Delhi-110096.
Greater Chennai Corporation was handed over the Masks and Sanitizers for distribution by NSIC to join the fight against COVID 19.This NSIC initiative under CSR was taken by Ms. SMS Nalini, Centre Head, NSIC Technical Services Centre (Chennai).
Wearing a face mask is an effective way to help contain transmission of COVID-19 virus. Under the CSR Initiatives, North Zone -I, The National Small Industries Corporation Ltd.-NSIC provided Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) kits (2,500 Mask, 150 All over, 100 Specs) to District Magistrate, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh for the use of frontline Hospital workers (Doctors/ Nurses). This initiative was taken up by Shri Sanjay Rautela, ZGM, NSIC.
Under the CSR initiative NSIC Distributed Masks, Gloves and Hand Sanitizers to the different J J Clusters of New Delhi Municipal Council area. The said initiative was coordinated by Shri. S. K. Shankar, Branch Head, NSIC (Naraina).
NSIC in this challenging time, during this world pandemic has taken up the various initiatives to fight against COVID 19 by facilitating MSMEs. NSIC has expanded its Horizon and made its foray into Health Care sector. Recently, NSIC (Hyderabad) in association with the State Medical & Health Department, Telangana & Telangana Medical Services & Infrastructure Development Corporation (TMSIDC) through its associate MSMEs has supplied PPE Kits – 20,000 Nos, 3 Ply Masks – 5,00,000 Nos and Sanitizers (500 ml) – 50,000 Bottles to various hospitals and medical stores spread across the Telangana State. The MSMEs in the state of Telengana manufacture, distribute and deliver the specified quantities in a time bound manner successfully to the various designated locations in the Telangana State. The Government of Telegana has reciprocated the efforts of NSIC in encouraging MSMEs with appreciation.
The various activities of NTSC, Rajkot were appraised to by Shri. P.K. Jha, ZGM (Central) and Shri. U. Venkatachalapathi, GM (NTSC-Head). During their visit, CMD and DPM also interacted with the representatives of Industrial associations to access the business potential. The employees of NTSC, Rajkot were also interacted and motivated to enhance the business.
Shri.P.Udayakumar,Director(P&M),NSIC while interacting with the participants of the "Workshop on etendering through GeM for Business Generation "held on 29th February 2020 held at NSIC Campus, Okhla Industrial Estate ,New Delhi encouraged the NSIC Branches to participate Online for increasing business for MSEs under the Consortia and Tender Marketing Scheme. Also present on the occasion were Shri.Manoj Lal, Senior General Manager, Shri O.P.Singh,Centre Head, NTSC (Okhla ), Shri. Sanjay Sharif, DGM, NSIC , Shri .Deepak Gehlot, Director (GEM), Government of India. The 1st edition of GeM Workshop was very useful and interactive and a big methodology of learning for the NSIC employees .All Branch Head and Accounts Head from NCR and Noida region and officials from different division of Head Office participated. Similar Workshop are being organized in respective Zones across the country so that NSIC can facilitate the participation of Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs)in Government Tenders in a enormous way.
