NSIC (Orissa ) in association with Department of MSME, Government of Orissa organized the MSME International Trade Fair 2020 ( 08th – 12th Jan 2020 )at Bhubaneshwar. NSIC set up a pavilion giving live demonstration of Indian Products and Technologies which also included 33 exhibitors from Iran and 13 exhibitors from Bangladesh. The Exhibition was inaugurated by Shri Navin Patnaik, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Orissa . On this occasion, Shri P.C.Nayak , DGM,(NTPC Tender project &IMDC (Bhubaneshwar),NSIC briefed the Hon’ble Chief Minister about Various initiatives of NSIC for the growth and development of MSMEs in the state of Orissa.
NSIC has renewed its MOU agreement on 08.01.2020 with Bank of Baroda under Bank Tie up Scheme marking it as a beginning of its second innings under tie up arrangement to help MSMEs with credit facility . Bank of Baroda is the second largest public-sector bank to get merged with Vijaya Bank and Dena Bank. The MOU has been signed by Sh. A.K Mishra ,General Manager (Bank Tie Up) of NSIC and Sh.Devinder Pal Grover, General Manager, Delhi Zone from Bank of Baroda in the presence of Sh. Gaurang Dixit ,Director (Fin) .Also present on this occasion was Ms. Himani Shali, Product Manager (Bank Tie Up)and Sh.Raghunath ,Manager (Banking) from NSIC.
NSIC has renewed the MOU agreement with Bank of Maharashtra on 8thJanuary 2020 for serving the financial needs of MSME Sector under its Bank Credit Facilitation Scheme . The MOU has been signed by Sh. A.K Mishra ,General Manager (Bank Tie Up) seen along with Ms Himani Shali, Manager(Bank Tie Up) of NSIC and Sh. Pramod Datar, Zonal General Manager,Delhi Zone from Bank of Maharashtra.
NSIC and M/s Mitutoyo South Asia Pvt. Ltd have joined hands in the area of industrial metrology so as to provide skill manpower to MSME units and create employment by way of providing training on latest technological machines of coordinate measuring machine (CMM). The MoU was signed by Shri O.P.SIngh Centre Head, NTSC (Okhla) and Shri Harrish Bajaj, Director, Mitutoyo South Asia (Japan) in the presence of Shri Vijayendra,( IAS) and CMD, NSIC and Shri P.Udayakumar, Director (P&M)on 13th January, 2020 at the NSIC – Technical Services Centre, NSIC Campus, New Delhi. Speaking on the occasion, Shri Vijayendra,CMD, NSIC stated that NSIC is in tune with the needs of the changing needs of the world market and is committed to bring the latest technology with world class service to the MSME sector. Under the Memorandum of Understanding M/s Mitutoyo South Asia Pvt. Ltdwill provide CMM machine CRYSTA –APEX with necessary probing kits and software’s and will create a Skill Development Centre in “Advanced Training Centre” of NSIC –Technical Services Centre ( Okhla )wherein state of art training will be imparted to trainees and services to MSME units. This Skill Development Centre will bridge the gap between institution and industry in the area of industrial metrology. Also present on the occasion were Shri Satvinder Singh, CGM , Shri Manoj Lal, General Manager (SG), NSIC , and Shri N. Bajaj, Managing Director, Mr. Neeraj Vohra from Mitutoyo South Asia.
NSIC, Guwahati in support from other branches and individuals across the country donated a sum of Rs. 1.19 Lakhs to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund Assam on 7th September, 2019. Shri. P. Udayakumar, Director (P&M) handed over the cheque to Shri. Sarbananda Sonowal, Chief Minister of Assam in presence of Dr. Avinash Choudhary, ZGM, (North East). Chief Minister of Assam vide its letter dated 06th December’2019 thanked for the generous contribution by the employees of NSIC.
Shri. P. Udayakumar, Director (P & M) as a Key Note Speaker at "MSME Sumit 2020" organised by Dhanam Publications Pvt Ltd at Kochi ion on 4th January'2020. During his key Note Address the Challenges faced by MSMEs in managing and scaling up Business and initiatives taken by the Government of India to overcome such challenges was highlighted. The presence of Director (P & M) was highly solicited by the dignitaries and the participants.
Shri Vijayendra, (IAS) CMD,NSIC extended New Year Greetings to NSIC employees and their families on 01 Jan. 2020 in the presence of Shri P.Udayakumar, Director(P&M),NSIC and Shri Gaurang Dixit, Director(Finance),NSIC .Speaking on the occasion he stated that the Corporation needs to move with current times and motivated each person to take a pledge to rededicate ourselves to achieve newer heights for NSIC and stand committed to work on its mandate of being a premier organisation fostering the promotion and growth of MSMEs in the country. The NSIC employees were also present on this occasion.
An Industrial Exhibition was organized by Telangana Industrialists Forum, Hyderabad on 29.12.2019 at Classic Gardens, Secunderabad, wherein 50 Nos. of MSME units have exhibited their products. The exhibition was inaugurated by Shri K.Srinivas, Zonal Head, South-II, NSIC Ltd, in the presence of Shri Guntha Srinivasulu, President, Industrialists Forum & Shri Rama Kumar Devata, Secretary. The exhibition was attended by various MSMEs/Departments/Traders, etc. for mutual linkages.
NSIC-Technical Services Centre, Rajkot has organized an inaugural function for skill development training program sponsored by M/s. Airport Authority of India (AAI) Rajkot under their CSR scheme to impart JOB ORIENTED SKILL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING for 160 candidates. In the inaugural function, Shri.Murli Manohar, Deputy Manager, NSIC welcomed the officials from Airport and other participants. Shri. Dharmendra Rajput, Deputy Manager, NSIC who conducted the function explained the salient future of NSIC training programs as well as Testing facilities available in NSIC Rajkot for the benefits of MSMEs. Shri.V.H.Prajapati, AGM, AAI, Rajkot who spoke about the CSR Scheme and its advantage for the development of below poverty line people in undergoing training under the scheme. Shri.U.Venkatachalapathi, GM & Centre Head, NSIC explained about various NSIC Schemes for the growth of MSME units with the particular emphasize on skill development training being imparted in NSIC, Rajkot.Shri.A.N.Sharma, explained the advantage of these free training and advised the participants to be sincere in understanding the fundamental of various kind of training of NSIC by which they could pursue for better employment. During this program Shri.Jivanlal Patel, President, Aji Industries Association as a Guest of Honor appreciated the effort taken by NSIC particularly for the Poor, SC/ST and Women candidates in imparting training to facilitate employment.Finally Shri.Raviprakash Vala, Asst. Manager, NSIC has delivered the vote of thanks to all the people who took parts in this program.
KASSIA in association with IDFC First Bank organized a Seminar on Credit flow to MSMEs on 18th December, 2019 at 4.00 p.m. in KASSIA Auditorium. Sri G.R. Akkadas, Director, MSME-DI, Bangalore inaugurated the programme. Sri P. Ravikumar, Chief General Manager, NSIC South-1, was Chief Guest, Sri C. R. Janardhana, President, FKCCI and Sri Siddalingappa B.Poojari, Joint Director, DIC, Bangalore Urban were guest of Honor besides Regional Head of IDFC First Bank.
NSIC –Technical Services Centre Hyderabad, has conducted MS-Office & Internet Course for Officials & Employees of Nuclear Fuel Complex, Hyderabad (An ISO 9001,14001, & OHSAS 18001 Organization), Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. The first batch of training was completed successfully. NFC Officials were extremely happy and applauded NSIC TSC Hyderabad for the trainings imparted. Shri A.B. Prabhu Raj, General Manager & Centre Head, NSIC-TSC Hyderabad has received wide appreciation from the NFC officials for the making necessary arrangements, Hospitality and Quality of Training imparted to the NFC Employees & Shri Mohammed Sajid, ADM, HR Department, Nuclear Fuel Complex, Hyderabad has ensured that few more batches of trainings to be continued & approximately 200 employees will be upskilled in the NSIC TSC Hyderabad.
