Shri Pratap Chandra Sarangi, Hon'ble Minister of State ,MSME during his visit to NSIC on 28th August planted a sapling in the Corporate Office. Someone is sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree longtime ago . A sapling was also planted by Shri Ram Mohan Mishra ,CMD,NSIC .
Shri P.Udayakumar, Director (P&M),NSIC and Shri Gaurang Dixit, Director (Finance),NSIC welcomed Shri Pratap Chandra Sarangi , Honble Minister of State, MSME , Government of India during his visit on 28TH August 2019 to the NSIC - Livelihood Business Incubation Center and Advance Training Centre at NTSC (Okhla) and apprised him about the various services being provided for the growth of MSME sector. Going around the NSIC initiative , the Honble Minister of State (MSME) appreciated the efforts of NSIC in job creation through skilling & entrepreneurship training.Also present on this occasion were Shri Satvinder Singh, CGM(Tech),Shri Manoj Lal, General Manager(SG), NSIC ,Shri Sunil Tyagi,GM and Shri O.P.Singh, Centre Head, NTSC (Okhla) .
Promoting Exports in MSME organised by ASSOCHAM Shri P.Ravikumar, Chief General Manager, South -1, Shri Vijay Bhaskar TM ,Chief Secretary,Government of Karnataka, Mr.Ziayullah ,MSME Commissioner,Government of Karnataka ,Shri C.R Janardhana President,FKCCI, Shri S.Sampatharaman,ASSOCHAM Southern Chapter Chairman were Dignitaries, Shri.P.Ravikumar,Chief General Manager,South-1 delivered the special inaugural address which was well received and appreciated by the Chief Secretary, Government of Karnataka.
NSIC Technical Services Centre ,Rajpura organized inaugural function for start of skill training on Repair and Maintenance of Domestic electrical Appliances for Rural Youth. Under the programme skill training shall be imparted to 30 nos of beneficiaries on repair and maintenance of various domestic electrical appliances like electric iron(dry/steam),electric food mixture(grinder/juicer),electric room heater, immersion water heater, mineral filled sheathed Heating elements, storage water heater etc. Present on the occasion, Shri Deepak Shrivastava, President, Micro small medium industries association, Rajpura shared that MSME's of region are facing shortage of quality manpower and various skill training programs of the Centre will not only support MSME's of the region by providing quality manpower but also support unemployed youth for self-employment. Also, present on the occasion, Shri Ravi Kumar, Vice President, Micro small medium industries association, Rajpura applauded Centre's initiative for conducting various skill training programs for the support of MSME's of the region. Shri Ram Kumar Yadav ,DGM and Centre Head shared about NSIC Schemes and various skill training courses undertaken at the Centre for the support of MSME's. 3. Sh. P. Udayakumar, Director P&M, NSIC and Sh. Satvinder Singh, CGM (Tech) visited NTSC Neemka on 19.08.2019. Interaction was held with the trainees and faculty staff during the ongoing training . DPM congratulated the team NTSC Neemka for successfully running the Diploma courses as Non-aided Institute and this can be a pilot model for other centres. Faculties were advised to impart the training in more innovative manner as per the course curriculum. Linkages with the academic institutions should be lined up in this regard. Officials of the Centre agreed, to maximise the trainees, to coordinate with NABL for an early accreditation of lab and simultaneously plan for aggressive marketing. It was also ensured by team Neemka that full time working of machines would be placed under ASPIRE & ATI for training, Job work, testing etc.to serve the beneficiaries.
Sh. P. Udayakumar, Director (Planning and Marketing),The National Small Industries Corporation Ltd. addressed the Awareness Programme on Capacity Building of Women Enterprises at PHD House, New Delhi on 19.08.2019 in the presence of Dr. H.P. Kumar, Former CMD, NSIC Ltd. & Advisor, PHDCCI, Dr. Rashmi Singh, IAS, Secretary, New Delhi Municipal Council, Ms. Anuradha Goel, Chairperson, WCD Committee, Sh. Vijay Kumar, Director, MSME-DI, Dr. D.K. Aggarwal, Senior Vice President, PHD Chamber and Sh. D.C. Sahu, Dy. Director, MSME – Development Institute. Sh. P. Udayakumar spoke about the role of Women Entrepreneurs in Nation Building. He threw light on various Assistance Programs being run by NSIC Ltd. for the upliftment of MSMEs especially Women Entrepreneurs in form of NSIC’s Rapid Incubation Centre, Procurement & Marketing Scheme, Bank Tie-up etc. Sh. Kumar assured the revamp of existing NSIC Schemes and Assistance Programs in tune with Business and Financial Needs of MSMEs especially Women Entrepreneurs in today’s Competitive World in the form of NSIC Ventures and NSIC Fincorp.
Sh. P. Udayakumar, Director P&M, NSIC made a visit to ITI Head office Bangalore and met CMD, ITI . Senior NSIC officials Sri. Satvinder Singh CGM (Tech), Sri. Paramjeet Singh GM (SG) BD and Sri. P. Ravikumar ZGM-S-I NSIC were also present in the meeting. Both NSIC and ITI discussed to work together in the common areas like skill development, manufacturing, Offering skill development courses for SC/ST members. It was agreed that ITI shall provide the details of machines/resources available to carry out the training in the area of SMT operations which broadly include pick & place, wave soldering, Re-flow etc. so as to firm up the training programs to be executed jointly. It was also discussed that ITI and NSIC can explore conducting exhibitions/seminars like DEF EXPO jointly. It was also mentioned that financial support up-to to Rs.1 Cr. for setting up of Livelihood Business Incubation (LBI) Center is available under ASPIRE Scheme of Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India. The same may be utilized by ITI for setting up LBI. NSIC team further visited the facilities available at Bangalore Plant.
Celebrating 73rd Independence Day of the country, Shri P.Udayakumar, Director(P&M),NSIC unfurled the National Flag at Corporate office of the National Small Industries Corporation Ltd ,which was synchronized with the singing of National Anthem . Speaking on the occasion, Director (P&M),NSIC stated that lets us cherish our independence with a feeling of gratitude for the sacrifices made and a sense of responsibility. He said that in order to keep pace with change in times and meet external business challenges new strategic business units are being created in NSIC , which require cohesive support , energy and commitment of all employees of the corporation to ensure that NSIC grows into more dynamic and agile organization .The time has now come for NSICians to work as a Team and rise to the occasion with vigour and determination so as to reach best ever performance during 2019-20.
Shri P.Udayakumar, Director(P&M),NSIC celebrating the 73rd Independence Day at NSIC led a Saplings Plantation initiative at NSIC alongwith employees in the NSIC Campus. Speaking on this Occasion Director(P&M),NSIC stated that Trees provide us with many benefits necessary for survival, including clean air, filtered water, shade, and food. They also give us hope and insight, and courage to persevere – even in the harshest conditions. Trees teach us to stay rooted while soaring to great heights and we must inculcate a habit of taking utmost care of them in our daily life,he added.
NSIC and STATE BANK OF INDIA have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 5th August 2019. agreement to promote Credit facilitation for sustainable development of MSMEs. The MOU was signed by Sh. A.K Mishra, General Manager (BT/FFC) of NSIC and Sh. Ved Prakash ,Deputy General Manager of STATE BANK OF INDIA in the presence of Sh. Gaurang Dixit, Director (Finance),NSIC.
