An MOU was signed for placement Linked Skill Training Programs between Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK), Govt. of Telangana represented by Sh. Sujiv Nair, Chief Executive Officer and National Small Industries Corporation Ltd. (NSIC), New Delhi represented by Sh. Satvinder Singh CGM-(Tech), on 3rd October 2018, around 1.00 PM at TASK Office, Hyderabad. MOU was signed in the presence of Sh. A B Prabhu Raj, General Manager, NTSC Hyderabad, Sh. N Madana Mohan Babu, DGM, Sh. U K Mishra, DM, Ms. Vani Harpanhalli, AM of NTSC Hyderabad & Sh. K Srinivas, Zonal Head, South-II and TASK Official Ms. D. Sailaja, Officer on Special Duty & Sh. Shaju Kumar, Co-ordinator of TASK.

An official delegation comprising of Ms. Alka Arora , Joint Secretary (SME) and Mr. Ravindra Nath, CMD, The National Small Industries Corporation Ltd.-NSIC visiting Morocco also held bilateral meetings with Mr. Othman EI Ferdaous, Hon'ble Secretary of State to Ministry of Industry, Investment and Trade and Digital economy and with other related Departments for discussing cooperation opportunities in MSME Sector between the two countries.
Shri Ravindra Nath, CMD, The National Small Industries Corporation Ltd.-NSIC in presence of Ms. Alka Arora, Joint Secretary (SME) signed an MoU with Mr. Rabri Barrazouka, Director General, Maroc PME, AT Morocco for enhancing cooperation in the field of MSMEs between the two countries.
Madam Manju Diler, Member National Commission for Safai Karamchari received by Mr. Ravindra Nath, CMD NSIC at NSIC Technical Service Center, Okhla New Delhi on 20.09.2018. Also taking tour to NSIC Incubation Center, she expressed that similar "on project" training center is required in the country for developing self-entrepreneurship among youths. Also she visited Advance Training Center wherein training on latest equipment were undergoing and appreciated the linkages made by NSIC with Industry partners for training in the center. Mr. Satvinder Singh, CGM, Mr. Om Prakash Singh, Center Head NTSC Okhla were also present.
Rajasthan MSME Day was organized on 17th Sept.2018 ( Vishva-karma Jayanti) by Department of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Govt. of Rajasthan at Hotel Clark's Amer Jaipur-Rajasthan. The event was chaired by Minister of Industries, Govt. of Rajasthan along with Dr. Samit sharma (IAS) Commissioner of Industries, Rajasthan. The event was organized to honor the MSME's of different categories of Rajasthan for their contribution toward respective sector. As a part of special gesture Honorable CMD NSIC, Shri Ravindra Nath was invited to present a speech on various activities and achievement of NSIC towards SME Sector. In his address Honorable CMD brief the audience about the various activities of the corporation along with Mile stones and success stories and service towards SME. The audience applauded the contribution of NSIC towards SME Sector of the country.
Swachhta Hi Seva (SHS)-2018 campaign was launched in NSIC on September 17th 2018 by Chief General Manager(SG)(Works) Shri Navin Chopra with administering of Swachhta Pledge to Officers and staff at NSIC Corporate Office, New Delhi
