NSIC has set up Training Cum Incubation Centres for Incubation of Unemployed youth for setting up new Small Enterprise all over the country. During his recent visit to NSIC, Shri Vivek Rae, Secretary, MSME along with Shri C.K.Mishra, Joint Secretary, MSME ,Shri Dinesh Singh, Joint Secretary ,MSME and Shri Jitesh John, Director, Ministry of MSME visited the NSIC –Training cum Incubation Centre and appreciated the efforts of NSIC in creating self-employment opportunities through Incubation program of NSIC . The delegation was briefed by Dr. H.P. Kumar, CMD, NSIC and other officials about the program and other schemes of NSIC in the country for the growth and development of MSME sector. The NSIC Incubation program is a integrated support by way of providing hands on training on working projects, it provides necessary facilities for prospective entrepreneurs and start up companies to learn product manufacturing processes coupled with technology development, Business development etc under one roof.
A two member delegation from NSIC led by Director (Finance) visited Burundi from 09.09.2012 to 10.09.2012 to (i) sign the country agreement with the Recipient Institution of the country and (ii) inspect the readiness of Infrastructure in respect of establishment of Incubator under IAFS-I. The signatories were Mr. Ravindra Nath, Director (Finance), NSIC and Mr. Severan Buzingo, Hon’ble Minister for Primary and Secondary Education, Crafts and Vocational Training and Literacy, Bujumbura.
A two member delegation from NSIC led by Director (Finance) visited Ethiopia from 06.09.2012 to 08.09.2012 to (i) sign the country agreement with the Recipient Institution of the country and (ii) inspect the readiness of Infrastructure in respect of establishment of Incubator under IAFS-I. The Mr. Bhagwant Singh Bishnoi, Ambassador of India and Mr. Desalegne Ambaw, the State Minister of Urban Development and Construction along with all Directors of FeMSEDA were present to witness the signing occasion.
NSIC signed MOU with Indian Bank on 21.09.2012 at Chennai. Under this initiative, NSIC aims to facilitate MSMEs for availing seamless credit flow from the Bank. This service is provided by NSIC without any charge from MSMEs. The MOU was signed by Sh. Ravindra Nath Director (Finance) of NSIC and Sh. P. Arivanandam (General Manager) of Indian Bank.
NSIC signed MOU with Allahabad Bank on 15.09.2012 at Kolkata. Under this joint initiative, NSIC aims to facilitate MSMEs for availing seamless credit flow from the Bank. This service is provided by NSIC without any charge from MSMEs. The MOU was signed by Sh. Ravindra Nath Director (Finance) of NSIC and Sh. B.K Srivastava (General Manager) of Allahabad Bank.
NSIC renewed its MOU arrangement with United Bank of India on 14.09.2012 at Kolkata. The MOU formalizes the longstanding mutual cooperation between the two organizations for providing maximum credit solutions to MSMEs in India. The MOU was signed by Sh. Ravindra Nath Director (Finance) of NSIC and Sh. Ambarisha Nanda G.M of United Bank of India in the presence of Sh. Deepak Narang E.D UBI.
On 23rd August 2012 NSIC signed MOU agreement with State Bank of Travancore making it the 17th commercial bank to enter into this unique tie up alliance. The MOU was signed by Sh. Ravindra Nath Director (Finance) of NSIC and Smt. Kiran Singh Deputy General Manager of State Bank of Travancore.
The 2nd DLF Business Summit-2012 focusing on “ Supporting MSMEs sustainability organized by DLF Industries Association (Faridabad) was inaugurated by Dr. H.P. Kumar, CMD, NSIC recently. Speaking on the occasion Dr. H.P. Kumar, CMD, NSIC informed that huge potential and growth lies for MSMEs in the 20% purchase preference policy to Government of India for Micro & Small Enterprises. To support the sustainability of MSMEs, NSIC has introduced a number of innovative schemes such as B2B portal for marketing, incubation of unemployed youth, building business development centers, etc.
A delegation led by the First Lady of South Africa H.E. Ms. Nompumelelo Ntuli Zuma visited NSIC on 29th March, 2012 and held discussions with Dr. H.P.Kumar,CMD, NSIC on areas of mutual cooperation for development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in both the countries. The South African delegation also visited NSIC Training cum Incubation Centre and was impressed with the work being done by NSIC and further expressed their desire to set up similar Incubation Centre(s),developing policies and Institutional framework for SME development in South Africa.
A delegation led by Shri R.K.Mathur, Secretary,MSME alongwith Dr.H.P.Kumar,CMD,NSIC visited Romania to have discussions with Agency for implementing Programs and Projects for SMEs, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Business Environment, Government of Romania. The delegation discussed areas of mutual cooperation between the two countries for the development and boosting trade for the MSMEs sector.
National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The Memorandum of Understanding for the year 2012-13 was signed by Dr. H.P Kumar, CMD, NSIC with Shri R.K. Mathur Secretary, MSME, Government of India .The said MoU envisages provision of enhanced services under Financial Support, Marketing Support, Technology Services and other support services for the MSMEs in the country. Also present during the MoU signing ceremony were Shri Ravindra Nath, Director (Fin),NSIC , Shri P.Udaya Kumar, Director (P&M),NSIC ,Shri Amarendra Sinha ,AS&DC(MSME)& Shri Jitesh John,Director,MSME
NSIC has entered into MOU with Federal Bank on 08.10.2011 for facilitating credit to MSME . The MOU has been signed by Sh. Ravindra Nath Director(Finance) of NSIC and Sh. P.C John Executive Director of Federal Bank. With this strategic alliance Federal bank becomes the 16th bank empanelled with NSIC under its Bank Credit Facilitation Scheme. NSIC through tie up arrangement with various commercial banks has been facilitating MSMEs in meeting their credit requirements.
