NSIC (Guwahati) has celebrated World Environment Day by organising a Plantation and Cleanliness drive in geeta mandir compound, Guwahati on 05th June, 2021. NSIC (Guwahati) planted 87 fruits bearing plants which were grown in NSIC office premises. Shri Diganta Kalita, MLA, Govt. of Assam and Shri Pankaj Chakraborty, ACS, Govt. of Assam were participated the program in spite of heavy rain. All the invitees appreciated the steps taken by NSIC to preserve the environment. The programme was coordinated by Shri Vinit Kashyap, Sr. Branch Manager.
NSIC (Zonal office –South I) organized a webinar on NSIC schemes recently. The presentation was made by Shri K. Sreevatsan, GM, NSIC South-I so that more MSMEs come forward to avail the benefits of NSIC schemes. The following were present in the webinar Shri Pankaj Kumar Pandey, IAS Principal Secretary, Ministry of MSME and Mines Government of Karnataka, Mrs. Vinoth Priya, IAS, Director MSME GoK, Additional Director MSME, GoK, Director, MSME DI, KVIC, All Boards and Corporations under Directorate of Industries and Commerce including KSSIDC MD, Senior Officials.
NSIC along with its various partners has been offering Made-in-India software solutions to MSMEs and help them embrace digital technology to keep pace with global competition. Recently on 16th April 2021 , Shri P. Udayakumar, Director (Planning and Marketing), NSIC interacted with Padma Shri Sridhar Vembu of Zoho Corp to sensitize the NSIC Associates understand the benefits of digitization through cloud-based business Software for their expansion and growth. All NSIC members are also eligible for a special 20 percent discount on Zoho subscription costs for select apps under this initiative.
Shri P.Udayakumar, Director (Planning and Marketing), NSIC participated in a panel discussion on “Enhancing the role for MSME sector with proper funding structure for Global Growth for National Reincarnation “at the online Global Web Summit held recently .Speaking on the occasion, he emphasised about the Alternate Funding Mechanisms for MSMEs and the role of NSIC for the growth of MSME sector. More than 200 domestic and Global participants attended the summit.
H.E. Mr. AbdoulWahabHaidara, Ambassador of the Republic of Senegal in India called upon Shri Vijayendra, CMD, NSIC to discuss opportunities of cooperation in the field of MSME. Sh. Vijayendra briefed him on the activities of NSIC in the field of MSME development. He also highlighted the interventions of NSIC for creating self-employment opportunities in Senegal. CMD also deliberated on further cooperation opportunities between NSIC and Republic of Senegal for development of MSMEs in Senegal. H.E. Mr. Haidarawas also taken around NSIC’s Rapid Incubation Centre and Advanced Training Center at New Delhi to familiarize him with NSIC’s facilities for skill development and creation of self-employment opportunities for unemployed. His Excellency appreciated NSIC’s facilities and found its model to be aligned with the need of skilling and creating job opportunities for youth and women in their country. He showed keen interest to cooperate with NSIC for promoting Micro and Small enterprises in his country. Sh. Gaurang Dixit (Dir. Finance), Sh. Sunil Tyagi, GM-SG (IC), and Sh. O.P. Singh, GM - Head NTSC, and Sh. Anupam Tiwari – Manager (IC) were also present.
During his visit to NTSC (Rajpura), Shri P. Udayakumar, Director (Planning & Marketing) inaugurated the Tool Room on 25th March, 2021 in the presence of MSME Focal Point Industrial Association members. The Machinery and Equipment has been installed and set up by NTSC (Rajpura). On this occasion, he reviewed the performance & areas of expansion of the present activities of NTSC (Rajpura) so the benefits of NTSC (Rajpura) programs are benefitted by larger section of the society. Shri Rajesh Jain, Centre Head, NTSC (Rajpura) was present on this occasion.
