P Udayakumar, Director (P&M) highlighted them NSIC’s facilities for skill development and various opportunities for creation of self-employment opportunities for unemployed during the visit of delegation from IRAN led by Dr. Sirous Vatankhah Moghaddam, President of Center for Progress and Development of Iran (CPDI) – (Presidency of Iran). Sh. Sunil Tyagi, GM(SG)(IC), Sh. O.P. Singh, GM, NTSC (Okhla), Sh. Sanjay Sharif, DGM-Tech., Sh. Anupam Tiwari, Manager (IC) and Sh. Avinash, Deputy Manager (CC) were also present.
A delegation led by Dr. Sirous Vatankhah Moghaddam, President of Center for Progress and Development of Iran (CPDI) – (Presidency of Iran) visited NSIC during their recent visit to India to know about self-employment opportunities and skill development through Incubation program of NSIC in the country. Shri Vijayendra, CMD, NSIC briefed them on the activities of NSIC and highlighted the cooperation opportunities between Iran and NSIC.
NSIC ( Deoria) organized one day Seminar on 12.02.2021 in association of District Industries Centre,(Deoria) and Life Insurance Corporation, (Deoria ). On this occasion, Shri.Kumar Rohit, Deputy Manager, Livelihood Business Incubation Incubator (Deoria) highlighted the benefits of NSIC Schemes. Others present on the occasion included Officers from DIC (Deoria), Mr. Anuraag Yadav, Deputy Commissioner and Mr. Jitendra Gautam, and Mr. Akhilesh Yadav, Development Officer, LIC, Deoria. In this program 150 Trainees participated.
A MoU has been signed between NSIC and GJEPC on 29th January, 2021 in order to inter-promote the business activity of both the Organisations with the prime focus of Machine & Equipment Selling Scheme. The MoU was exchanged by Shri. UK Kohli, General Manager (BD- Machine Selling), NSIC and Shri Colin Shah, Chairman, GJEPC in the presence of Shri .P.Udayakumar, Director (Planning & Marketing), NSIC.
NSIC celebrates 72th Republic Day 2021 with patriotic fervour. Shri Vijayendra, IAS, CMD, NSIC unfurled the National Flag in the presence of Shri P. Udayakumar, Director(P&M), NSIC and employees of the corporation. The flag hoisting was followed by singing of the National Anthem. On this auspicious occasion, CMD, NSIC highlighted the contribution of India’s and its unique features shrined in the preamble of the Constitution. The CMD in his addressed, motivated the employees to work harder and take NSIC to new heights for the growth of MSME sector.
NSIC envisages a digital transformation of MSMEs towards the goal of ‘Atma Nirbhar Bharat’. In this connection, Sh. P. Udayakumar, Director (Planning & Marketing), NSIC signed MoU with Sh. Divya Sethi, Head – Emerging Business, Bharti Airtel Limited on 11th Dec, 2020 under its ICT Enabled Digital Services with an objective to serve MSMEs in India for their business automation and connectivity needs viz. data/voice connectivity, marketing solutions, cloud. security and collaboration.
NSIC has signed MoU with Appolo Medskills on 07th December, 2020 to start training in field of Healthcare Sector. The MoU expands the range of training programmes offered by NSIC Technical Service Centre in the country. The MoU was signed in the presence of Shri P. Udayakumar, Director (P&M), NSIC, Shri O. P. Singh, Centre Head, NTSC(Okhla), Dr. Srinivas Rao Pulijala, CEO of Apollo Medskills, Shri Navin Chopra, CGM-SG (Technology), NSIC, Shri Rajesh Kumar, DGM (Tech.), NSIC and other NTSC (Okhla) officials.
On 26th Nov. 2020 to commemorate the “Samvidhan Diwas” Shri Vijayendra (IAS), CMD, NSIC read the Preamble to the Constitution with all the NSIC employees. Also present on the occasion were Shri P.Udayakumar, Director (P&M) and Shri Gaurang Dixit, Director (Finance), NSIC. The Constitution Day is observed in the country as “Samvidhan Divas” to promote constitutional values amongst the Citizens of the country.
Shri Masood Ahmad, Manager (EMC), NSIC created a World Record on 22nd November, 2020 by completing a 100 Kms. Lap in 20 Hrs and won the title of “World Record Ultra Run of 100 kms for International book of world record” organized by Indian Flag Runner. Shri P. Udayakumar, Director (P&M), NSIC congratulated him on creating a World Record, speaking on the occasion he stated that playing sports keeps employees more energetic, motivated and happy and all employees must adopt on sport in their daily life to keep fit and healthy. The competition was held at NMAK, Pataudi Sports Complex, Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi.
NSIC (Andheri) in association with The Control Panel & Switchgear Manufacturers Association (COSMA) organised a webinar on “NSIC schemes for the benefit of MSMEs” on 08th November, 2020 at Mumbai. On this occasion, Sh.P.Ravi Kumar, CGM / ZGM–Zone (West), NSIC presented his welcome speech introduce to MSMEs. A presentation was also delivered on NSIC schemes by Sh. Kantharao D J, BM, BO(Andheri), NSIC.
