On 02 Oct 2019 to celebrate 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Dr. Arun Kumar Panda, Secretary (MSME), Shri Ram Mohan Mishra AS&DC(MSME), Ms Alka Arora, JS(SME), Shri P.Udayakumar, Director (P&M),Shri Gaurang Dixit, Director (Finance) along with senior officials of Ministry of MSME and NSIC undertook a cleanliness drive and Swachhta pledge to highlight the need to liberate India from single use plastic at Okhla , New Delhi .
On the occasion of 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Dr. Arun Kumar Panda, Secretary (MSME), Shri Ram Mohan Mishra AS&DC(MSME), Ms Alka Arora, JS(SME) planted few saplings to create awareness and spread the message of saving our planet- 'Protecting our environment is the need of the hour.' at the NSIC Corporate Office,New Delhi. Also present on this ocasssion were Shri P.Udayakumar, Director (P&M),Shri Gaurang Dixit, Director (Finance) along with senior officials of Ministry of MSME and NSIC .
Shri. P. Udayakumar, Director (Planning & Marketing) welcomed the Lecturer Mr. Yi Beck Lee an expert from Korea at the Workshop on Artificial Intelligence (AI) conducted by NSIC in association with Indo-Korean Technology Exchange Centre (IKTEC) at NSIC – TSC, Okhla on 24th September 2019. Around 30 participants attended the program and it was well received by them. Shri. Satvinder Singh, CGM, Shri. Sunil Tyagi, General Manager and Shri O.P.Singh,Centre Head ,NTSC (Okhla) also attended the workshop.
One-Day interactive seminar on financing options for 'MSMEs Challenges and Opportunities' was jointly organised by FICCI And State Bank of India Shri P.Ravikumar, Chief General Manager, South-1 NSIC, Shri Abhiji Majumder, CGM, SBI, Shri. Jagadish Shettar, Honable Minister for Industry, GOK, Shri Maheshwar Rao, Secretary, MSME GOK, Mr. Ullas Kamath, Chairman, FICCI Sate Council were dignitaries Shri P.Ravikumar, addressed the gathering on interventions of NSIC in the MSME domain which was well received and appreciated.
The National Small Industries Corporation Limited was conferred with the Rajbhasha Samman Award at the "International Conference - 2019" organized by the Vishwa Hindi Parishad on September 13, 2019. The award was presented by Smt. Mridula Sinha, Governor, Goa to Shri P. Udayakumar, Director (P&M) and Shri Gaurang Dixit, Director (Finance). At the prize distribution ceremony, Shri. Jitendra Singh, Prime Minister's Office Minister, Shri. Arjun Ram Meghwal, Minister of Heavy Industries, Shri. K.C. Tyagi, Senior leader, Bihar, Janata Dal (United) and Shri Indresh Kumar, National Executive Member, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh etc. were also present.
NSIC – TSC, Hyderabad conducted training program on Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Infrastructure And Technology in our campus on 22nd August 2019 for working professionals from various industries. Around 70 participants attended the program and it was well received by them. Shri. Satvinder Singh CGM, Technology Head And Shri A.B. Prabhuraj, General Manager extended their warm greetings to participants. Shri Sanjay Shende Zonal Chief General Manager, gail delivered special inaugural address on electric vehicle technologies.
An MoU is signed between NSIC and M/s. Hindustan Colas Private Limited (HINCOL) on Sept 09, 2019, for Handling of Packaged Bitumen, Emulsion products at Vijayawada. The MoU was signed by Mr. K Srinivas, Zonal Head - South II, NSIC Ltd. and Mr. Subin Punnoose, Regional Business Head - South Zone, HINCOL. Also Mr. R.J.S.V. Ramarao, Branch Manager, NSIC Vijayawada, Mr. Raj Kamal, Dy. Manager, NSIC ltd., along with other officials from HINCOL was present in the program.
NSIC employees of Guwahati in support from other branches and individuals across the country donated a sum of Rs. 1.19 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund Assam on 7th September, 2019. Sri P. Udayakumar, Director (P&M) handed over the cheque to Sri Sarbananda Sonowal, Chief Minister of Assam in presence of Dr. Avinash Choudhary, ZGM, (North East). Chief Minister of Assam thanked for the generous contribution by the employees of NSIC and requested for continued support for the development of the state. During his Visit to Sikkim , Shri P.Udayakumar,Director(P&M),NSIC held a meeting with Hon'ble Governor of Sikkim Shri Ganga Prasad and apprised him of the various initiatives of NSIC for the growth of MSME sector in the country.The Honble Governor of Sikkim applauded the efforts of NSIC in enhancing the skills of Youth, Entrepreneurs in the North east region through NSIC 's various entrepreneurship programs.
NSIC signed MoU with Government of Sikkim on 06th Sept.2019 for the promotion and development of MSME sector in the state of sikkim through NSIC package of services for the growth of MSME sector.The MoU was signed by Shri P.Udayakumar,Director(P&M),NSIC Dr.Thomas Chandy ,Additional Chief Secretary ,Govt, of Sikkim
The NSIC Technical Services Centre, Okhla organized a Workshop in the month of August 2019 on Leadership in association with Wow Factors with an objective to motivate the employees to have a new perspective for achieving goals. Dr. Shankar Goenka from Wow Factors addressed the participants and made the workshop lively through an activity based interactive session. Various activities compelled participants to think unconventionally to perform a task. The workshop charged employees with new energy to work together as a team and find new ways to perform. Every participant responded enthusiastically and gave assurance in unison to achieve goals. Mr. O.P. Singh, the Centre Head delivered a vote of thanks with a few words of appreciation for Dr. Shankar Goenka as motivational speaker, and appealed to the officials to take lead and put all their efforts to achieve targets.
