NSIC (Chennai) conducted a Seminar on the topic “ Credit Facilities to MSMEs” on 16th Nov 2018 in association with CDISSIA,Bank of Baroda. Sri R. Saravanakummar ,DGM, NSIC ,Sri T.V. Hariharan, President, CDISSIA,Shri K.Tirumal Rao, Asst. General Manager(SME Loan Factory, Chennai)- Bank of Baroda and Shri R. Gowrishankar – Chief Manager, Mylapore Branch, Bank of Baroda presided the program and disseminated the benefits of NSIC Bank Credit facilitation Scheme. 60 MSME units participated in the program.
Shri Sudhir Garg, CMD, The National Small Industries Corporation Ltd.-NSIC visited the NSIC Technical Services Centre, Rajpura on 28.11.2018 to review the performance of the Centre. During the discussion CMD suggested various initiatives to be undertaken to improve the performance of the Centre in the area of Training, Testing and commercials etc.
On 26th Nov. 2018, NSIC celebrated Constitution Day at NSIC Corporate Office, New Delhi. To commemorate the program, Shri Sudhir Garg, CMD,NSIC read the Preamble to the Constitution with all the NSIC employees . Also present on this occasion were Directors on Board NSIC ,Shri P.Udayakumar ,Director (P&M),NSIC and Shri A.K.Mittal,Director(Finance),NSIC.
A delegation from Ghana led by Rt. Hon. Speaker of Parliament Prof Aaron Mike Oquaye, accompanied by H.E. Mr. Michael Aaron N.N. Oquaye, High Commissioner of Ghana in New Delhi called on Sh. Sudhir Garg, CMD, The National Small Industries Corporation Ltd.-NSIC to discuss possible areas of cooperation for the development of MSMEs in Ghana. The delegation was taken around NSIC's facilities for development entrepreneurs and facilities for skill development through advanced Trainings. Mr. Garg briefed the Hon'ble Speaker of Ghana about NSIC's experience in creating self employment opportunities in other countries and possible areas of association with Ghana for development of MSEs in Ghana. Mr. Satvinder Singh, CGM (Tech.) and Mr. Sunil Tyagi, G.M. (Intl. Coop.) were also present during the meeting.
