NTSC (Hyderabad) organised a Mobilization Program for Diploma industrial training at Ellenki Polytechnic , Patancheru, Hyderabad wherein 500 students participated and showed interest in enrolment.
NSIC conducted a One day Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp on 24th Oct 2018 at the Sethu Institute of Technology (Kariapatti). 150 students participated in the program . On this ocassion, Shri R.Balasubramian, DGM disseminated the benefits of NTSC schemes to the youth.
NTSC (Rajpura) in association with NABARD organized SKILL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING program on 15th Nov2018 . 100 nos of participants participated in the program. The Program was inaugurated by Shri J P S Ahuja ,AGM(DDM) ,Patiala in presence of Shri J S Sandhu ,President ,Micro Small and Medium Industries Association ,Rajpura ,Shri Sashank Gaur ,Branch Manager, Andhra Bank,Rajpura ,Shri Puneet Verma ,Branch Manager ,PNB Rajpura and Shri Ram Kumar Yadav ,DGM and Centre Head NSIC Technical Services Centre ,Rajpura. Under the program NABARD is providing financial assistance to trainees undergoing skill development training courses such as Computer software and data entry operator ,Computer accounting and office procedure, Computer hardware repair and maintenance. Speaking on the occasion ,Shri J P S Ahuja, President, MSME Association (Rajpura) applauded the NSIC initiative and increase the frequency of such modules .He also requested NSIC to commence a Training program in association with NABARD on maintenance of Agri machinery implements like rotavator ,harvester, reaper, chopper, baler etc which is need of the farmers of Punjab at large.
The students of Princeton Engineering College & Technology for Women (100 No.s)visited NTSC(Hyderabad) on 06/11/2018 to have first hand knowledge about the various Training programs being offered by them for the youth. Shri A B Prabhu Centre Head, NTSC, Hyderabad briefed the advantages of obtaining hands on experience at NTSC (Hyderabad).
NTSC (Hyderabad) organised a Sensitization program on the offerings of NTSC (Hyderabad) in association with World Vision (Hyderabad) on 03 & 04 Nov 2018 at Chandrayangutta &LB Nagar & Nacharam, Hyderabad wherein 150 students participated. Another Marketing for Industrial & Internal Training Program was organised at Vaagdevi Engineering College on 05/11/2018, wherein 150 students participated as also at Sanjay Gandhi Government Polytechnic, Abdullapurmet Hyderabad on 08/11/2018 wherein 150 students participated. The students were enthusiastic to acquire Training at NTSC (Hyderabad).

Secretary (MSME), Dr. A. K. Panda addresses India -Taiwan SME Development Forum at Taiwan organised by Ministry of Economy Affairs, Taiwan. Secretary (MSME) is leading delegation of Indian MSMEs and Officials to Taiwan for enhancing cooperation in MSME sector between the two sides.
Sh. Sudhir Garg, CMD, The National Small Industries Corporation Ltd.-NSIC addressed the Indian Taiwan SME Development Forum organised by Ministry of Economic Affairs, Taiwan at Taipei where SMEs from India and Taiwan are participating. He spoke about the various initiatives taken by Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises,Government of India for development and promotion of MSMEs. He also addressed on possible areas of cooperation in MSME Sector between the two sides.
Hon'ble Minister of State for Textiles,Sh. Ajay Tamta visited NTSC Okhla on 08.11.2018 and appreciated the efforts of NSIC in creating entrepreneurship culture in the country. Hon'be Minister interacted with ongoing trainees and appreciated the various training modules which are being conducting in NTSC Okhla.
Sh. Sudhir Garg, CMD, NSIC along with CGM(Tech) visited NTSC Neemka on 3rd November 2018. During the visit, CMD had detailed discussions with Mr. Rajesh Kumar, Head of the Centre and other officers on the activities of the centre. He advised them to expand the ambit of activities and reach of the centre through Technological Interventions and to address the challenges faced by traditional Micro Enterprises. CMD also took tour of the Building premises, workshops, class rooms and interacted with the faculties, students. He further suggested the faculties and officials to enhance the knowledge base and skills of the learning students. The visit of the CMD marked as an opportunity for the centre towards expansion in the areas discussed by him for sustained growth of the centre.
