NSIC and KASSIA facilitate the “Fifth India-China Trade & Business (Bengaluru) Forum” at KASSIA, on 26thJune 2018.Sri R Hanumanthe Gowda, President and Sri T S Umashankar, Hon. Gen. Secretary, KASSIA took part in the summit. Sri P Ravikumar, Zonal General Manager, NSIC, spoke about various schemes and services of NSIC and also about the new initiatives of Ministry of MSME.The summit was addressed by Sri Zheng Jie, a long-time resident of China, from India on current economic situation at China and India.The program was attended by large number of MSMEs including delegates from China who evinced keen interest in setting up their units in Karnataka. Chinese delegates had one to one business meeting with Indian MSMEs.

NSSHO Varanasi has organized E-Tender training program at conference hall of MSME-DI, Industrial Estate, Varanasi in association with M/s Indo Danish Tool Room Jamshedpur Extn Centre Varanasi for SC/ST, on 08.06.2018. During the programme Shri V.K.Verma- Dy. Director (I/c)-MSME DI Varanasi, Shri Anshuman Gupta-Asst. Director- Ministry of Textile, Office of Development Commiasioner for Handloom, Varanasi were present. Shri Ashish Prakash Upadhyay- E-Tendering Consultant) has explained the procedure of E-Tendering .Shri R.K.Hajela has explained the NSIC Schemes and Public Procurement Policy 2012 . A film on SC-ST hub was played during the programme. During the training program 19 no of SC , 01 No of ST and 10 No of General participants were present . At the time of training all the participants have the Interactive session of E-Tendering.
Branch Office, Jaipur organised marketing workshop in a Aspirational District Dholpur on 21.06.2018 in association with Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DICCI) The Programme was inaugurated by Mr.Naumal Pahadiya District magistrate of Dholpur. He appreciated the initiative of National Small Industries Corporation Ltd, Jaipur for organising the marketing workshop at Dholpur. Mr.Y.K.sharma Sr.Branch Manager BO Jaipur given the brief presentation about NSIC Scheme. And asked the participant to avail the benefit about scheme. The programme was attended by more than 30 number of budding as well as existing entrepreneur of dholpur district and other government official were present at programme MSME-DI,RIICO,KVIC,DIC,CEO Nagar Parishad Dholpur.

Udayakumar, Director (Planning & Marketing) NSIC inaugurated the exhibition “WOPS-World of Products- Plastics & Rubber on 14th June, 2018 by lightening the auspicious lamp in the presence of Sh. C. Babu President Tamil Nadu Small and Tiny Industries Association and Sh. Bhayani President , TAPMA along with other office bearers. Sh. Vidya Sagar Singh, ZGM-South-3 NSIC was also present. The event was organized by The Tamil Nadu Plastics Manufacturer’s Association (TAPMA) at Chennai. 23 units participated in the exhibition under the banner of NSIC’s MAS scheme. B.O Chennai participated in the event by taking a stall and disseminated the schemes to the visiting MSME Entrepreneurs.

NSIC (Ahmedabad) under "Swatch Swasthya Abhiyan" initiative organized a seminar on 17/06/2018 at H K college (Ahmedabad)where Ms. Bhavnaben Dave, Member of Parliament & Other dignitaries were present. The focus of the program was Hygiene & cleanliness of women. 100 girls participated in this program. In another initiative, NSIC(Ahmedabad) in association with KVIC supported the efforts of Utkarsh (an NGO) in launching a Menstrual Awareness Education books for school students.
