To commemorate the observance of International Yoga Day 2018 on 21st June 2018 all offices of The National Small Industries Corporation Ltd.-NSIC were illuminated on the eve of IDY 2018.
The National Small Industries Corporation Ltd.-NSIC Technical Services Centre, Okhla, Celebrated “Harit Saptah” on 21.06.2018, wherein honorable CMD NSIC, Sh. Ravindra Nath and Mr. Manish Walia, Vice President, Delta Electronics India planted saplings. 32 saplings of fruit bearing trees were planted. Also present the occasion were Sh. Navin Chopra CGM (SG)-Works, Sh. Satvinder Singh (CGM-Tech.), Sh. Sunil Tyagi (GM-International Corporate) & Sh. Rajesh Kumar Tripathi (GM-HR).
NSIC, Bhubaneswar (Branch Office, Zonal Office, NSSHO and IMDC) observed International Yoga Day at its IMDC building, where all NSIC officials, office bearer and association members of OSAME, DIC officials and IDCO officials are actively participated. Total number of participants is 55.
Led by Shri Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC all the NSICians celebrated International Yoga day with drill of the Common Yoga Protocol. Speaking on the occasion, Shri Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC stated that Yoga Teaches us to be in harmony. Yoga is that practice which would enlightens the one who practices it on a regular basis and urged all NSICians to make it a Habit to lead a better life. Also present on the occasion were Shri P. Udayakumar, Director (P&M) and Shri A. K. Mittal, Director (Finance). The
Shri Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC inaugurated "Harit Saptah" on 21st June 2018, New Delhi wherein sapling plantation will be carried by all NSIC Field Offices across the country in associations with Industry association and Academic Institutions during the period 21th June 2018 to 27th June 2018. The major saplings planted on this day includes fruit bearing trees, medicinal plants amongst others. Also present on this occasion were Shri P.Udayakumar, Director (P&M) and Shri A.K.Mittal, Director (Finance).

NSIC (Ahmedabad) under "Swatch Swasthya Abhiyan" initiative organized a seminar on 17/06/2018 at H K college(Ahmedabad)where Ms. Bhavnaben Dave, Member of Parliament & Other dignitaries were present. The focus of the program was Hygiene & cleanliness of women. 100 girls participated in this program. In another initiative, NSIC(Ahmedabad) in association with KVIC supported the efforts of Utkarsh (an NGO) in launching a Menstrual Awareness Education books for school students and distribution of sanitary pads among SC ST girls in villages.
On the occasion of Swachhta Pakhwada 2018 ,Shri Ravindra Nath, CMD,NSIC administered the SWACHHTA PLEDGE alongwith all NSIC Employees. Also present on this occasion were Shri P. Udayakumar, Director (P&M),NSIC and Shri A.K.Mittal ,Director(Finance), NSIC. Speaking on the occasion, Shri Ravindra Nath,CMD,NSIC urged each employee of the corporation to inculcate cleanliness as habit in their day to day life by Keeping their workplace, home and surroundings clean. During this Pakhwada, various initiatives have been planned by NSIC offices in association with local industry associations across the country including Seminar on adoption of Innovative Technologies on Cleanliness
