During his visit to Bhiwadi on 3rd April 2019 , Dr. A.K.Panda, Secretary, MSME interacted with Shri Parveen Kumar Gandhi, Sr. Branch Manager, NSIC (Bhiwadi) and appreciated the efforts of NSIC in reaching out to MSMEs of the Bhiwadi region. Shri Piyush Srivastava, ADC ,DC(MSME ) was also present on the occasion. A tree plantation was also carried out by Secretary, MSME at the premises of MSME - Technology Centre, Chopanki, Bhiwadi. The new MSME Technology centre (Bhiwadi) has been set up for imparting training among the industrial units and educational institutes in the upcoming Bhiwadi Belt.
NSIC (Chennai) organises VDP in association with Indian Railways on 29th March 2019. Shri T.Venkateswaran ,Zonal Head, NSIC ( South - 3) highlighted the benefits of NSIC schemes to the participants. 29 MSMEs participated in this program and showed keen interest in NSIC single point registration scheme. The Indian Railways was represented by Shri Charles Christopher, ICF (Chennai).
NSIC (Lucknow) in association with CIPET participates in a Seminar on the topic Emerging Trends in MSME sector on 14th March 2019. The program was organised by MSME-Development Institute. Shri A.K.Srivastava, Branch Head, NSIC (Lucknow) highlighted the NSIC schemes to the participants of this program.
NSIC (Chennai) organises VDP in association with Chennai Port Trust on 22/03/19 and invited their vendors to avail the benefits of NSIC Schemes. 25 MSMEs participated in the said program. Shri T.V.Venkateswaran, Zonal Head,NSIC (South -3) actively coordinated the said initiative . The Chennai Port Trust was represented by Shri K.Kumar,Senior Materials Manager,Chennai Port Trust.
Shri P.Udayakumar, Director(P&M), NSIC delivered the keynote address at the 4th edition of Exhibition Excellence Awards held on 23rd March, 2019 at India Expo Mart, supported by the Ministry of MSME, Skill India (Ministry of Skill Development) & Incredible India (Ministry of Tourism)., ET Now Television . The Exhibition Excellence Awards are an initiative to recognize those contributing in the growth of Indian exhibition industry and to acknowledge their contribution. Speaking on this occasion Shri P.Udayakumar ,Director (P&M). NSIC stated that Exhibitions create a most economical marketing platform for MSMEs and are the catalyst to the nation’s economic growth and their contribution is immense in promoting national initiatives like ‘Make In India’, ‘Start-Up India’ & ‘Skill India’and urged all the participants of the program to come forward and avail the benefits of NSIC Schemes.
Sh. R.M. Mishra, CMD, NSIC and AS&DC, Ministry of MSME welcomed the high level delegation led by Hon’ble Richard Maru, Minister of National Planning, Government of Independent State of Papua New Guinea (PNG) at NSIC. CMD, NSIC apprised the delegation of various activities of NSIC for promotion of MSMEs in the country and abroad. He also discussed the opportunities of cooperation between the two countries in MSME sector. Delegation from PNG also visited NSIC’s Technical Incubation Centre for creating self employment opportunities and Advanced Training Centre for upgrading the skills of Youth. Hon'ble R. Maru, expressed that NSIC’s model is the apt model for engaging youth in productive activities in Papua New Guinea.
Chennai District Small Scale Industries Association (CDISSIA) organised a 3 day MSME Expo 2019 on 8,9,& 10 March 2019 at NTSC Chennai premises were 66 MSMES of various sectors including Banks participated . Dr Rajendra Kumar IAS Principal Secretary /Industries ,Commissioner & Director of Industries & Commerce presided the inaugural function and in his Inaugural address highlighted the Governments initiations and Schemes taken up for the benefit of MSME Sector in the State. Senior Offices from SIDBI,Canara Bank ,IOB,SBI ,TANSTIA and CMD of Achi Masala (P) Ltd were present . Expo highlights were addressed by Sh T.V Hariharan President CDISSIA , Key note Address by Ms Nalini CGM NTSC Chennai.
To enhance the reach of our Corporation services NTSC Chennai is taking all out effort in conducting awareness programs in industrial clusters and in colleges located in not only in urban but also in rural areas. Ms Nalini, Chief General Manager, NTSC Chennai presided over an International conference LEADER 2019 organised by Arunai Engineering college ,Thiruvannamalai on 15/3/2019 .During the key note address , she gave a presentation on the various skill up gradation training program provided by NTSC in the latest technology in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer engineering etc. Also spoke in length about the latest technological advancement in the Information era and advised the students to update their technical and professional skill through these training courses apart from regular curriculum to be industry ready for employment / self employment career . More than 850 students and academicians from various part of the country attended the program. After the inaugural session , Chief General Manager also inaugurated & conducted a training session for the final year B.Tech students on the latest technology advancement , i.e big data, Data Analytics & Cyber security. Around 150 candidates attended the program. The training course was organised by NTSC Chennai on the invitation of the college. The college authorities has also shown keen interest in signing MOU with NTSC Chennai & utilising the services for the upliftment of their students .

During the inauguration of International Engineering Sourcing Show on 14th March 2019 held at Chennai. Shri. P. Udayakumar, Director(P&M), NSIC interacted with Secretary (Commerce) Addl Secy , (Commerce ), Industries Secretary (Govt. of Tamil Nadu) and EEPC Executive Council members and highlighted the offerrings of NSIC for the MSME Sector.
Sh. A.K. Mittal, Director (Finance), NSIC welcomed Dr. V. Hungwe, Chairman, Public Service Commission, Zimbabwe, at NSIC Technical Service Centre, New Delhi. Dr. Hungwe was leading a delegation of Zimbabwean officials for familiarization visit to India’s approach for training and talent management. The Zimbabwean delegation was taken around NSIC’s Rapid Incubation Centre and Advanced Training Centre. Dr. Hungwe found NSIC’s Rapid Incubation Program to be very appropriate for engaging Zimbabwean Youth in creating employment opportunities and skill upgradation through Advanced Training Centre. Dr. V. Hungwe was accompanied by H.E M. Ranga, Ambassador of Zimbabwe to India and other Government officials from Zimbabwe. Sh. Satvinder Singh, Chief General Manager (Tech.), Mr. Sunil Tyagi, G.M. (Intl. Coop.) and Mr. O.P. Singh, Head, NTSC-Okhla were also present during the visit of Zimbabwean delegation.
National Small Industries Corporation Limited, Branch Office Ahmedabad organised a SC-ST Conclave on 10th March 2019 at Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), Village Bhat, Gandhinagar to bring together, for the State of Gujarat CPSEs, Banks, Industry Associations and State Government on a common platform and deliberate upon steps to be taken to fulfil the mandate of Public Procurement Policy for SC-ST entrepreneurs and also to build their capacities. In order to work for the entrepreneurs from the SC/ST community ,Ministry of MSME invited all stakeholders to this conclave for deliberations with a view to reach the last mile for delivery of benefits of NSSH Scheme. Sh. P. Udayakumar, Director (Planning and Marketing) NSIC was the key note speaker, Sh. H. D. Shrimali, Additional Industries Commissioner. Govt. of Gujarat, Sh. Satish Parmar, President DICCI Gujarat Chapter, Sh. P.K. Jha – ZGM NSIC, Central spoke in the programme. More than 200 SC-ST participants participated from far backward areas on Palanpur, Mehsana, Baroda, Navrsari and Ahmedabad to know the benefits formulated by ministry to SC/ST Entrepreneurs. Directory of SC/ST entrepreneurs of Gujarat was also released during the program. Senior officers from ISRO, IOCL, Banks, Airport Authority of India and Western Railway Corporation were present from the CPSE. Industry Associations, Financial Institutions, and Central PSEs also attended the Conclave and assured to extend cooperation with State Govt, and support SC/ST HUB. The program has received a vide media publicity both on electronic and print media. Door Darshan News (DD Girnar) and GTV News (Gujarat TV) has also give a coverage to this event and more than a dozen daily local vernacular and Indian Express has also given good coverage of this program.
